At Chandos Lodge Nursing Home, our aim is to provide all the necessary care and attention for those who wish to spend their retirement in a secure and caring atmosphere, whilst respecting their privacy and maintaining
their independence and dignity as far as possible.
We have a selection of comfortable bedrooms, all of which are fitted with nurse call systems, TV and personal washing facilities.

LIVING AREAS
Our bright lounge offers a relaxing environment in which to watch television, listen to music or simply to sit quietly, as well as the use of a conservatory. There is also a lift providing easy access to all floors.

MEALS
Our attractive dining room offers a tempting and varied menu of home cooked food, freshly prepared from local produce where possible.
Individual tastes are taken into consideration and all special diets can be catered for.
GARDEN
The attractive garden is well-tended, with outside seating for the summer months. It is ideal for entertaining visitors.
Interested residents are welcome to help with its maintenance.

CQC have recently inspected our service and raised concerns about the care provided. We take the concerns raised by CQC following the inspection very seriously and have already taken significant action to address a number of the issues identified. It is our view that, following the actions taken, the published report is not reflective of Chandos Lodge as it is today. We are committed to working with CQC, and other stakeholders including the Local Authority and our residents to continuously improve the service we provide and ensure that it remains open as an essential service for local residents.
